Question 1

Can AI intake for law firms handle new-client inquiries after hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It can answer approved process questions, collect the matter type and basic context, capture contact details, and route the inquiry toward a consultation request or human callback while the office is closed. It does not provide legal advice or promise representation.

Question 2

Can AI answering screen for potential conflicts of interest?

Accepted Answer

It can ask the conflict-screening questions your firm configures and surface names, organizations, and relationship details for review. That creates an intake signal, not conflict clearance; your firm retains the human review and final decision.

Question 3

Can a solo attorney use it to schedule consultations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After the inquiry meets the configured fit and urgency rules, the workflow can request or offer an appropriate consultation window and pass the details to the scheduling process your firm uses.

Question 4

Does the AI decide whether the firm should take a case?

Accepted Answer

No. It triages the inquiry using your approved intake rules and prepares a qualified lead summary. An attorney or designated intake professional remains responsible for conflict review, legal judgment, engagement terms, and the callback.
